Galvanised steel according to rules EN 10142 – 00,
obtained by coating the steel core on both surfaces with a zync layer. In this way there is an excellent galvanic protection, while the steel parts, which are mostly exposed during the manufacturing process (like shearing and holes) are protected. This type of steel is particularly suitable for operations where a special resistance to corrosion, that implies the use of stainless steel, in not required, with a good ratio product/cost.

G.B.N. uses the following galvanised steel:

DX51D + Z            : type of steel particularly suitable for forming or bending operation of simple difficulty
DX52D + Z            : type of steel suitable for medium difficulty forming operations
